I watched the video. Loomer wasn't really assaulted. She was harassing Waters, who gave her a few bumps. It may be technically assault, in a legal sense, but it was nothing, and nothing is going to come of it.

Asking questions is now harassing? Why is Waters flailing her arms around, she seems metal ill, I've never seen anyone act like that.

I wouldn't call this an assault, but charging a reporter with harassment for asking a public official questions would be a huge threat to our constitution; and especially when the person being questioned was calling for everyone to harass those they disagree with.

Sadly, I agree. I wish she had attacked Loomer, for the repercussions alone, but she didn't. I don't think that most people would consider this violence, but I'm no lawyer. This will be interesting to follow either way.
