Supposition. Assumption. Unproven. If their families undoubtedly, 100%, had a bright future based on their skill sets, then they would have applied for visas, gotten them, and immigrated legally. They didn't. Most likely because they were uneducated third-world peasants with no education, no skills, and no prospects in life for their families except continuing to be peasants for the next 1000 years... which isn't something in much demand in the US.
We have our own peasants, and they already speak the language and are actually pretty handy if you need stuff fixed with duct tape or an extra car parked on your lawn or need more dogs for under your porch.
Says you... and you're entitled to your unfounded, baseless, and naive opinion. That's your right to belief any old horseshit you like. So hop your ass on a plane, go to the third world, and help all the people you feel like helping, to your heart's content. Let us know how that works out for you.
I have an idea that it's somewhere between fuck-all, and zilch... but you can help prove me wrong. Get your Democratic Senators and Representatives to sponsor a bill that denies all government assistance to all immigrants (both legal and illegal) until they've been in the US legally for 20 years.
Then they can show us what a boon they are to the economy, when all handouts are off the table, and they literally have a chance to show what a benefit they can be to the economy. Sound like a deal?
Incorrect. Big Agriculture can pay fucking market wages to fucking citizens and fucking legal residents, or big agriculture can go to fucking prison for violating the RICO act for basing their business on illegal hiring practices. How about that?

I agree about Big Agri businesses should be held accountable, but we all know that wont happen. If corporations didnt hire illegals just so they can pay slave wages and increase profits, they wouldnt come here. So the focus should be on cracking down on corporations, not on immigrants. You think its that easy to get a visa? You are the naive one. Thats the entire reason illegals come here illegally. The process is broken and too much bureacracy. Some people wait 10+ years to go through proper legal channels to get into the US. Besides, this country was built and founded by immigrants.

Good. Vote for that.
Good. Vote for that.
Illiterate uneducated peasants from places with dirt floors in their houses and 12 kids per family supported by a dad who scrounges metal from piles of garbage in the town dump should never, ever, be granted visas. They will be a burden on our welfare system AT BEST, but most likely a burden on our welfare system, a burden that will dumb-down our education system to the remedial level, burden our health-care system with "emergency medical services" that include ten or eleven babies delivered in the emergency room or in the ambulance on the way to the hospital because the mother had zero pre-natal care and only called an ambulance when the water broke, and a burden on our prison system housing the cast-off kids who can't function in a 21st century economy with 8th century upbringings.
If you went back in time and asked the Shoshone, the Arapaho, the Sioux, the Shianne, the Hopi, the Navajo, the Crow, the Blackfeet, the Nez Perce, the Cherokee, and so on, if they would like their entire cultures erased from the earth, their bloodlines largely terminated, their lands dispoiled, their women and children sold into slavery, and their descendants caged on tiny plots of land like human-inhabited zoos... and then asked them to vote on whether or not they wanted to see more immigration, how do you imagine that vote would go?
Yeah... about the same as if all of this diversity-macht-frei immigration-is-beautiful bullshit were ever actually put to a vote.
I vote no.
