Does Dick's think the sjw crowd is going to start patronizing their business? Soon Dick's will have a big sale and everything will be marx down.

Their sales are usually for shit anyhow. When they hype a monster sale, it usually turns out they only have a small number of unpopular items (usually XS and S, if it’s a sized item) in gross colors on sale.

Good. They should redistribute all their ammo to people like me that need it to be equal.

Not surprises. Mossberg has long been legit.

My first firearm was a Mossberg 50 years ago. I still have it and it's never failed. It was my Dad's before it was mine. Money well spent.

If you adopt me, I promise to take care of it after your gone.

If ever you were forged by the one king under the mountain, go now and speed well!

Sorry, what you wrote reminded me of Bard's soliloquy from the Hobbit. And you know that scene would have been way more epic if he'd been firing rifled slugs.

Mossberg has been a mainstay in Dick’s product line. Mossberg shotguns are low-cost, bottom end products that appeal to entry level hunters and shooters and Dick’s has sold millions of them. I hope the loss of Mossberg hurts Dick’s badly and that all the other firearms manufacturers follow suit and dump Dick’s. Leaving Dick’s with little or no guns to sell before hunting season comes around in ~4 months would teach them a good lesson about the consequences of their self-destructive SJW bullshit antics.

Ha nice.

I know moss are a budget line. What I had in mind was that the prison guards I've known swear by their mossburgs for durability and reliability. That had matched my own experience.

If you want some inexpensive but great, well made guns- Mossberg should be your go-to.

They've got good stuff on the high end, too. Their autoloading shotties are on par with Benelli for quality, but you don't have to pay Lamborghini prices for them.

What if I want a flashy and expensive gun that jams frequently and shoots poorly? Who would you recommend?

Desert Eagle

Why would you get an expensive gun that jams when you could just get a taurus

My first rifle was a Mossberg. Cheap too. First year they were putting out their version of an AR-15. $800, great reviews, I couldn't pass it up.

Only thing that concerned me was that the barrel wasn't chrome lined, which I looked into, and unless you're planning on doing a lot of rapid fire, steel is fine.

Absolutely! I've always had good experiences with their products. My late grandfathers favorite deer rifle was a Mossberg, which I now have. It's still in perfect firing condition after who knows how many 1000's of rounds it's fired over the course of its life.

Next up Glock and Smith & Wesson.

Hopefully Remington will follow suit as well, otherwise this could give Mossberg the edge over them.

Remington is in bankruptcy so I don't know that they can turn down any business at this point.

I do agree with your sentiment.

Pretty soon Dick's will be relegated to only selling tutus and tights.

They really fucked themselves. Guns are a high profit line for these stores. The way things are going all the big makers are going to leave.

I love it. Virtue signaling has no place among those who support the second amendment. And if you have a dick, stay out of the ladies' restroom . . .

I prefer my local gun shop. Not only does he sell new guns,he also takes weapons on consignment (usually from customers who bought them with him in the first place..and if not he did his due diligence in learning the weapons history)

Besides...I don't like supporting dicks....

If you use your hand/wrist as a chinrest, it makes it a bit easier. Otherwise, there is 69 which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
