I'm not disagreeing with you at all. I just find the topic interesting. I don't think any two people define being "white" the exact same way. I think "Aryan" is the term that actually means something, and is probably what most people mean when they say "white". Although "Aryan" would include the entire upper caste in India as well...

I remember reading about some Mongolian guy who was a "white supremacist" recently. If you look at genetics and skin color, it's pretty hard to argue with the guy. He's as white as an Irishman (though the Irish weren't considered "white" not that long ago).

This old German map is pretty decent at illustrating what I'm talking about. You'll notice that all of the Middle East and North Africa are in fact "Caucasians". They just aren't "white". https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/25/Meyers_b11_s0476a.jpg

There really only are 3 Major "Races", and 1 or 2 Minor. Being Caucasian, Mongoloid and Negroid. Then Pacific Islanders and Amerindians, who are really just a branch of Mongoloid. Mongoloid and Caucasian are highly related, while Negroid has been completely separated for some ~40-50K years.

Along the same lines, I always enjoy pointing out to people that Palestinians, Jordanians, etc, are all Semitic people. So how can they be anti-semites?

Again, facial morphology. It is not clear that an outdated system of classification based on facial bone structure is all that useful.

Modern genetics will eventually come up with more precise ways of classifying ancestry. For now, I refuse to consider Cape Coloreds and Bantu as the same 'race'. They are vastly different. Same with Sri Lankans and Ashkenazi Jews.
