It's because they think you should die.
I think they've said it many times.
How close does the gun have to be for self-defense to be a virtuous act?

Self-defense is always a virtuous act. The real question is how close does the gun have to be for it to be self defense?
I would argue that there is no need for any weapon to be present. If someone said they truly wanted me dead, the logical solution to the situation is kill them before I am killed myself.
Someone doesn't need to have a gun in hand, they could hire someone, poison you, bomb you, use a remote operated rifle, cut your brake lines, doxx you and make false allegations to incite a mob attack, etc.

You listed off a bunch of complicated plots someone could use to follow-up on a death threat, but you left out the most simple possibility: They try to punch you in the jaw and knock you unconscious. Grown men have been killed with single punches, either hitting the ground and busting their skull or having some kind of underlying condition.
Because of this, I believe that the moment someone escalates a situation into physicality, that person's life should be forfeit. Why should a victim have to hold off on using their lethal weapon and fist fight an attacker simply because that attacker was too dumb to bring a weapon? Grown men shouldn't be getting into fist fights and not be ready for the potentially lethal consequences. Never fight unless you're ready to DIE, because there's a chance it could happen.

If you ever do have to shoot somebody in self defense aim for the head. Common sense to most here but many people want to wound them not kill them. Dead people can’t testify against you.

well I'd wager most death wishes are unfulfilled.

The idiots who are out in the streets can't seem to get this through their thick skulls. Democide was one of the biggest killers in the 20th century, but yeah lets just give all our guns to the government. Fucking senseless idiots.

The global oligarchy wants obediant workers and useful idiots to keep them in line, it's why Europe is all in with islam, it's a cool way to keep the serfs in line without the government taking responsibility

So I know of some government acts where they've poisoned alcohol which killed about 10k, and the time they sprayed paraquat poison on marijuana - but what makes up the 262 million number? Wars?
[–] Thin_White_Duke ago
Well, Stalin's good for about 50 million or so.

Well corporations are people now. Which makes sense. Government is....idk an entity I guess? So I don’t know if we have any priest that can sanction that marriage.
