Serves them right for voting in a Democrat governor.

Even worse Murphy's a Bernie-crat. I'm far from wealthy, but this would not be the first time this kind of crap has chased me across the Delaware.

New Jerseys richest person, David Tepper, moved to Florida a couple years ago because NJ taxes were so high, single handedly makes/breaks state budget.

More millionaires will be leaving if the government keeps robbing them. Rich people are neither stupid nor submissive. At some point the cost of relocation will be lower than the tax burden and they will leave. They'll also take a ton of jobs with them. But that's what theu get for voting Democrat.

Illinois and Jersey have particularly underfunded pensions so they should be the canary in the crisis. If raising taxes works, that solution may spread to other stressed states. If the taxes instead drive away tax revenue, these states will beg for a bailout or they and more states could go bankrupt.

another ultra liberal state facing bankruptcy..sounds familiar.

Just how incompetent are NJ leaders?
They do know that raising taxes on things won't help their economy right?
[–] SolarProphet 0 points 3 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago
A statehouse full of shit tossing monkeys wearing suits don't really care about our economy. All they care about is getting their pockets lined by Mylan and Bayer.

I hate that fucking state.
They intentionally set up their EZ-PASS toll lanes to misdirect you so they can extort a $50 fine for a .25 toll. They have reciprocity with other state DOT agencies so if you don't pay it, you can have your driver's license suspended in Texas for just passing through that shithole state 6 months ago. They should rename it Jew Nersey.
