Britain used to have a solution for that: a gallows, where you would hang by the neck until dead.

Or, in the case of the secret agencies, it was "a locked room containing a bottle of whiskey and a loaded pistol".

Public hangings for those that are elected and then betray the security and safety of the public are a necessary part of maintaining the integrity of a Republic or parliamentary democracy.

The people making the decisions will ALWAYS be subject to blackmail and extortion. Only the real and present danger of humiliation and a public execution can balance that out.

Talk of reintroducing the gallows in Britain. Most of Europe got rid of the death penalty of their own accord, but its also a requirement of EU membership via their human rights directives that the death penalty not be permitted (we had to get rid of it for capital murder in the early 2000s for this reason, even though the death sentence was always commuted by the president in capital crimes). With the UK leaving the EU and the Tories already committed to revisiting the human rights act there is talk of the gallows returning.

The trouble will be what they will consider capital crimes if it is reintroduced. Certainly blasphemy would be. Along with a wide variety of thought crimes and being a heterosexual while male

Just in time (assuming that those sleezeballs in Parliament can actually finish Brexit without gutting the UK as an act of appeasement for the EU globalists).
