The right correctly observes that wealth is produced. The left assumes that wealth can be distributed (incorrectly assuming that confiscated wealth will continue to exist in the future). If someone believes that wealth is preexisting, then not distributing it is evil. If someone believes that wealth is produced, then not encouraging its production & taking someone else's wealth is evil. These strong moral convictions are the root for confirmation / cognitive bias that takes these 2 mutually exclusive beliefs about wealth and create further politically divergent beliefs. This creates the left vs. right spectrum. In biology, this mirrors the r (strategy for infinite resources) vs. K (carrying capacity, strategy for finite/limited/scarce resources) strategies. This r / K playlist goes over this, but replace epigenetics with bias.
