Since they are an overwhelmingly leftist demographic they aren't worth caring for. Trump needs to look after the people elected him and the people who can be swung over.

The reason so many are Leftist or that they support leftism is because of these loans.
If the loans were able to be discharged through bankruptcy, students would:
A) not support a whackjob like (((Bernard Sanders))) in return for simply abolishing their student loans.
B) not be able to find funding for retarded uni courses that go nowhere like feminist dance therapy in the first place.
There needs to be an option to declare bankruptcy or the loan is essentially risk free. And if the loan is risk free, then it cannot accrue interest at any rate greater than inflation.
My only concern is that after this is done, the federal reserve will simply buy up all the bad debt like they did with the 2008 GFC, rather than let the financial institutions take the loss like they damn well should.

B only happens if the government doesn't force banks to give those loans and guarantee them

The idea that amnestying student loans will cause students to become conservatives is like the idea that amnestying illegal immigrants will make them into conservatives, imho.

The young ones are left. There are a lot that are paying their bills as best as they can. Those young leftists grow up to be conservatives.
