Part and parcel of communicating on goycial media. This must be those Russian bots that everyone's talking about; interesting how they don't happen to be helping Trump in any way, whatsoever.
[–] Pubiclouse 1 point 25 points 26 points (+26|-1) ago
(((Russian)))
[–] MaxAncap 0 points 11 points 11 points (+11|-0) ago
If 80% of russian commie admin was jewish, where are they now?
[–] 11804465? 0 points 7 points 7 points (+7|-0) ago
If a leftist accuses you of something, it 100% means they are doing it themselves. Projection. The left has millions of bots supporting Marxism across the internet
[–] ardvarcus 0 points 17 points 17 points (+17|-0) ago
All attractive young white women. No black faces and no Jew names.
[–] ghastlymellow 0 points 8 points 8 points (+8|-0) ago
Of course! It's the usual method that bots used ever since MySpace was around. They can't get any more obvious than they are now.

Women aren't that interested in politics, so it's obviously fake from the get go.
I reckon only 1 in 100 women know more about this scandal, than I do.
[–] MadBro ago
Yea. Even if I saw just the one, the fact that some Instagram whore with a filter who knows who McCain is, makes the whole thing suspicious.
[–] StatusQuip 0 points 11 points 11 points (+11|-0) ago
IMO we should pass laws that make this illegal without disclosing of persons/group that paid for the bot or shills with each message, and massive fines for failure. Too much of the internet has become shills and bots and the bots are starting to get AI.

How do you enforce or check this without going full on 1984
[–] ShineShooter 0 points 5 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago
autism

I'm not a lawyer but would be okay with a law that made a "disclosure clause" optional for all websites. If a website elects to include this statement on there site companies operating in the US would be obligated to disclose the use of bots or shills when in operation. If don't they get fined. Like a terms of use agreement with a little more fire power. If sites don't want to be transparent they don't have to, but we can at least have a list of shill approved sites.

Obvious fakes. The girls in those stolen pictures should file a class action law suit.
[–] 1madmanamongmany 0 points 3 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago
You assume they are not composite images. Although they should if they are not so.
[–] cyks ago
It also assumes that they were not paid to be social media
activistsexperts[–] TheTrigger 0 points 1 point 1 point (+1|-0) ago
These guys are right; it's insanely easy to make composite images. Hell, there's websites that automate the process, for you.
[–] canbot 0 points 1 point 1 point (+1|-0) ago
No reason they can't be composite images, or just straight up Photoshops.
[–] 1Sorry_SOB 0 points 7 points 7 points (+7|-0) ago
I'm sure the Dems are going to question social media on THESE bots.
[–] Derpfroot 0 points 2 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago
Can you imagine a scrolling CNN headline that reads: Israeli-Owned Companies Hire Shills, Bots In Effort To Control Public Opinion.
[–] fl3x 0 points 5 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago (edited ago)
Fun game:
If you've seen a copy of the request the NSA put out for social media sock-puppet army software from over a decade ago: give yourself a hi-five.
If you're a sitting in an office managing multiple social media persona's: give your face one.
[–] Feldorai 0 points 4 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago
It's gonna be fucking scary as Hell to find out that all of those girls pictures are probably kidnapped by the Government because it's otherwise even creepier that none of them know that their pictures are being used without their consent and they haven't spoken up about it to claim their images.
[–] TheTrigger 0 points 3 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago
Composites. Those are (I'm 99% certain of it) not real women. They take software that does something like, scan millions of women's public pics on facebook, for example. Then, it randomly mashes them together to make fake profile pics and assigns one to each bot.
With all the image manipulation/AI APIs and cheap access to data centers (like AWS), this stuff becomes a joke. Hell, I'm teaching myself how to code and use a lot of the emergent technology; getting every certification that I can afford, along the way. As a noob, with no professional experience (yet), I've batch compiled thousands of composite images— just to get acquainted with the tools.
It's getting creepy, just how easy it is to do some crazy stuff, with software.

Do you have some links/directions on how can someone achieve something like this? I find it really interesting how you can generate a believable image of a non-existent human that way. I wonder if it's possible to save specific features to make multiple photos that appear to be the same person.
[–] Aged 0 points 1 point 1 point (+1|-0) ago (edited ago)
Almost nobody saw these tweets, they were created to try to make a topic trend on Twitter.
[–] Jadsticles ago
Not sure I understand, what's the end game in that?
[–] 3891776389 0 points 2 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago
The dark prince sure loves to use women as his mouth piece. I wonder if these are real women following orders or just bots....
