Nixon lived in a time before everything was digitized and recorded. He deliberately erased 18 crucial minutes and everyone understood exactly why. These days, literally terabytes of information is recorded -- most of it useless, redundant and/or backed up. It's absolutely routine to manage it and discard what isn't needed. But you simpletons and conspiracy nuts go crazy over the idea that something got erased.

This imgur album seems oddly relevant here: https://imgur.com/gallery/Os3Be

Both are the same, just another way to try to make the public disinterested in the truth. One just restricts what little truth manages to escape, the other just floods the truth with a great amount of unnecessary data.

Seems like you are susceptible to the latter, given your position, so I don't know who you are going to convince here. Calling everyone who disagrees with you simpletons and conspiracy nuts doesn't help your case either.
