Her first amendment rights are being violated. There's no such thing as "racism". There's free speech and things you disagree with.

Well. There definitely is such a thing as racism. Its just that racism IS free speech. So everything else you said is accurate. But yes, judging people based on their race is a thing. I do it all the fucking time.

I think more specifically, there isn't a specific legal criminal act of racism. There are things like discrimination laws and hate crimes but for something to count as a hate crime it needs to have a crime. You're free to hate anyone or any group of people as long as you don't go punching them about it.

She seems to be a pretty all around terrible person I'd want nothing to do with, like that crap about a fur vest or whatever. Basically self-absorbed and not used to having consequences for actions. But if you ignore the particulars and just take it to an abstract concept, her video was basically a declaration of her right to freely speak as she pleases, and that if people don't like what she has to say then too bad for them because she has a right to say it. Then they showed her that no, apparently she does not have such a right. That's a pretty bad precedent but at least she's not going to jail for it. It's probably some bullshit student code of conduct rule they nailed her on.

The first amendment protects citizens from the government. Unless she's being charged with a crime by the government, then her first amendment rights are not being violated.

She is being persecuted for exercising her free speech by the school which is still retarded. The difference is that this situation isn't covered by the constitution..

The University of Alabama is a state school, I think.

Get state or federal funding and you're NOT a private institution and yes she is covered under the constitution! Her rights were violated and she has a case.

So, can a Christian refuse to make a cake for a faggot couple? If not, then go take your centrist cuck ass someplace else.

Whats the point of the constitution if every interaction that is important involves a private entity. Basicaly there could be a liberal fascist corporation/state where you can be persecuted by companies for anything and not be protected by the constitution... I know I'm missing some logical aspect of my argument. I'm still pissed airbnb kicked me off for a misdeamanor assualt. It was literaly 5 second fight that didn't do anything and I get a means of supporting my self cut off.. Fuck these new ultra liberal companies. It's based out of San Fransico.

Not really. She was able to say what she wanted but faced consequences from it. Same as if you go spouting niggerfaggot around the watercooler at work and end up in HR. They can't put ya in jail, but they can fire your ass.

That said, I agree about it being free speech and all these fuckers trying to call shit hate speech nowadays and claim its illegal to try and turn us into hijab jacking off EU need to back the fuck off.
