When you eliminate freedom of expression, you eliminate the way of finding the problem in a society and therefore it's solution. What the hell is 'microaggression'? That all sounds more like a 'macroregression' of western culture to me

Microaggressions are seemingly innocent comments and phrases which reinforce a stereotype, or praise someone for not conforming to it. The guy who came up with the idea said he just wanted to draw attention to the concept, but since then it's become a sort of thought crime on US campuses.

Because it is a way to control speech and therefore discourse in higher learning.

Considering she's east Asian, separating Whites from students she refers to as "People of the global majority" is a bit, well, racist, isn't it?

Who wants to confess and get signed up for their very own personal Maoist struggle session?
[–] Broc_Lia [S] 0 points 4 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago
Yep. And I love how "everyone who isn't white" is now called "the global majority"
[–] timemage 0 points 2 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

[–] timemage 0 points 3 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago (edited ago)

[–] Broc_Lia [S] 0 points 5 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago

It's ironic that the left uses collective punishment to criticize their opponents, but as soon as someone does the same back, they reeeee that it's unfair. Does the left have any argument that doesnt revolve around communism and double standards?
