The Ahmadiyya have an alternate interpretation of Khatam an-Nabiyyin, a title of Mohammed meaning "seal of the prophets". Their interpretation is that the title implies continuation, while the majority Islamic opinion is that the title implies stoppage.

The significance of this is that the Ahmadiyya view is consistent with deity having a continued influence on mankind as the logos or word, i.e. an alternative to the language of Babylon.
