It's been 20 some years since I drove through, but have vivid memories of the burned out and boarded up houses and burned cars along the street. Plenty of freaky dark shadows slinking about, and the whole place had the "you're about to be robbed and murdered" feel to it. And this was right downtown somewhere. Near the train station I think. Why white people would live there I have no idea.

I used to live in the area. Philly is littered with rich liberals and college students(Temple University, UPenn and Drexel) who think they can change the ways of Philly. I had a dumb nigger try to steal tennis balls from an active court, who simply did not understand what they were doing wrong. YOu can pump all the money you want, but it wont fix stupid
