And yet how often do you see a similar "tribute" to the magna carta or the code of Hammurabi outside a courthouse?

The thing for me is that the wording of the state constitution is very clear, and the court's decision was equally clear. It's fine if you want to have them reconsider it, but I wouldn't be surprised if she defies their decision should it come down the same way (as I expect it would). If you want to amend the state constitution... I guess that's also fine, but it's not been an issue up to this point.
