Whenever a shooting happens the GOP dances around the 2nd Amendment as if it doesn't exist. Whether they enforce the law is irrelevant in cases like this where the laws can't prevent the crime. We're not going to curtail a right because of its abuse, this is a fundamental principle that the GOP won't stand up for. This is how London's Muslim mayor addressed Islamic terrorism:
Notice he doesn't equivocate about legislation, he takes the option off the table completely: life with Muslims means terrorism, get used to it. An outsider like Khan can shamelessly defend the worst of his people, but Congress can't speak up for a right protected by the Constitution.
