More like revoke its non profit status. Seriously: the NFL is a not for profit organization (lol).

Thanks for that, i wasn't aware. I would assume though that they have plenty of ways to get money out before the tax hits.

Go watch high school football if you have to.

Tough sports are being wiped out by feminazis. In the US, the media has been nagging about concussions and how awful and dangerous it is. It seems suspiciously like the hysterics they've been using to shape society in every regard. In Canada they've been pushing soccer over hockey for years and fewer kids play hockey.

It's almost like they don't want boys or men to enjoy the masculine type of testosterone endorsed sports. Pussifying the audience.

It's kind of strange to see someone consider football a super masculine or testosterone endorsed sport. I always remember my older more concerned relatives telling us kids to play baseball or football or basket ball since they were kind of more tame or safe and were sort of more civilized sports that were popular in Universities. Where as Prize Fighting and bare knuckle boxing were the more kind of brutish or thuggish sports and were always kind of viewed as masculine sports that the real tough guys participated in.

As for modern day parents not wanting their kids to play football because of fear of injuries it is pretty dumb to deny an 8 year old the chance to play because they fear brain damage will affect the kid twenty-five years later even though little tikes almost never make hard contact. But I could definitely see parents telling their kids to not play highschool football especially in their third or fourth years. Highschool football is different these days a lot of the better players see it as a chance to get a scholarship that can potentially save them tens of thousands of dollars and they train accordingly.

So playing on the field you can have a five-foot eight 130 lbs linebacker who is skinny as a twig who plays mostly for fun during the normal season and during the off season works out twice a week for an hour and knows he has no chance at a scholarship to a major university trying to tackle a Full back who is 6'2' 215 lbs of muscle who during the off season works out and practices 5 hours a day and is expected to be a first year starter at a D1 University. Last year one of our local boys who was a college prospect cause a Patellar Tendon rupture on a poor kid who really had no business being on the same field as college prospects.

It is like putting 24 year old who casually does boxing work outs a few days a week and who might spar once a month or so in a ring with Mike Tyson in his prime and telling them to slug it out. It isn't a matter of masculinity or anything stupid like that it is just basic common sense that it is quite dangerous to put people who play a physical sport casually against people who spend all their time training for said physical sport.

EDIT: this post gets really off topic and rambles a lot but i like it as is and think it works pretty well so sorry to whoever reads this big block of text.

I'm female, have no interest in sports and football seems like a very masculine sport to me. It's too much of a pattern if you look at everything feminists overweening mommy types are trying to eradicate in society; which is creating more docile men. Why would any group want to create more docile men while at the same time offer that country up to the globalists as a conquered nation?

You want to get those boys knitting and crocheting so they'll grasp their hankies when the muslims start going Rohingya on everybody and proclaim in a high voice "oh don't hurt them, they're a peaceful religion of children".

You swallow the media bullshit hook line and sinker and completely ignore the generations of healthy, well football players or the choice men make to play football. Choice fuckhead, choice.

Or, you're just another stupid kike pushing feminist stupidity.

This is just an example of so-called conservatives being as opposed to free speech as antifa. you don't like nfl players engaging in political protest? don't watch football. Problem solved. These assholes trying to drop the hammer on anyone that says something they don't like need to be killed in their sleep, whether they call themselves a conservative or a liberal.

Bullshit. Because the NFL stadiums are going to continue to receive taxpayer subsidies, and tax breaks. So you're money is going to them regardless of whether you don't buy tickets or pay-per-view.

Tax payers supporting the NFL is another story entirely. Business owners like football teams because sports bring crowds and crowds bring revenue. However, tax payers shouldn't support sports. The NFL could survive without sucking on the welfare teat, they'd just have to make less money.
