"The FBI routinely pays third-party private Intel firms to gather evidence used to secure federal search warrants and arrest warrants, as well as FISA court warrants."

Has this been tested in the courts? Seems like an easy way to get around that pesky constitution.

I can (and have) seen this in international issues (KFRs particularly) and can see it being useful intentionally. Locally, hell the fuck no.

True Pundit isn't corrupt and shouldn't be archived in the OP. It deserves our support. Please keep this in mind for future posts.

It was just a dirty politics hatchet job - attach it to the FBI to lend some kind of legitimacy - it was never supposed to be investigated, since Trump was supposed to lose.

Now however, it opens the door for employment termination of government employees, and slander lawsuits against various individuals and organizations. Trump may be able to use this for some leverage on McCain... which would be useful.

Another reason Clinton should be thanking Comey rather than blaming him for her own incompetance.

She practically was thanking comey until Trump fired him.

It was a fucking 4chan joke...literally.

They bet a guy they could produce a believable report about another guy and ruin him. They did.

So then this British "spy" guy took this EXACT SAME REPORT and then substituted Trump's name in for the other guy's name. It is literally a word-for-word report. But chan made it as a JOKE.

Since politicians are immune from all criminal charges, the most anyone could expect would be fraud charges against Steele. They're probably tempted to make a public offering of him, but even that's a stretch because it would sully the name of McCain and the FBI. Along with McCain, the FBI brass are also members of the protected class.
