I'm mostly concerned about the chilling effect that this will have on an "average person's" speech.

Something like Jihad Watch is reputable and well-known enough to get mainstream media attention and find a way to get back onto some payment provider. But an average blogger, small YouTuber, or normal guy who wants to voice their political opinion is going to think twice before saying anything too controversial. It's too much of a pain and hassle to deal with getting shut down from a payment provider for an average person. This is how they'll quiet people down, make them feel isolated, and demoralize them.

The fucking Communists are clearly testing the waters and seeing what they can get away with censoring.

This is why you should start at least exploring digital currency systems such as Bitcoin. Even though in a sense it is traceable if you associate your real identity to a purchase, it is one thing that (((they))) can't really shut down without destroying the entire network.
