It's why they didn't fuck with him other than words.

So in other words, where it's legal, if you're going to a protest, arm the fuck up.

I live down in the P-Cola area. It was pretty laid back and conservative until the last 10 years. Now it's going all liberal and the PNJ and city council are trying to change things. Along with unjustly removing this guy from school the city council and Mayor Ashton Hayward are trying to remove the confederate monument in Lee Square. So far the local petition is 8000+ to keep and 1700 or so to remove. They will still end up removing it and do so without a vote by the people. The only reason the Mayor hasn't done it already is because there is a little law here that says he needs the vote of the council.

This is governance by tyranny.

The police should have never made him leave, and he should sue city leaders. That said, I do want to give credit to one of the cops who refused to cuff him and sat him in the front seat of the police car.

You can tell they didn't want to be removing him, but likely had orders to do so and would lose their jobs if they didn't. It doesn't excuse it, but it's better than cops removing people legally exercising their rights and enjoying it.
