Does the crigslist verify the identity of the poster through phone number or email? If so, this can be used to tie any posts found to the organization(s) behind this act of domestic terrorism.

Of course it should. The trick is convincing someone who has standing to file the suit, and refusing to take a settlement until discovery is complete.

Two issues: 1) liability and 2) damages. Let's take them one at a time. Liability-Anyone remember when the SCOTUS in Citizens United said the richies can spend all the money they want buying our democracy as a part of their free speech? Good ol' capitalism just renting out some vocal chords to amplify their message, right? A famous railroad baron, Jay Gould, once said, "I can hire half of the working class to kill the other half." There has been a multi-million dollar case filed against a bunch of the supremacists, but I suspect that it won't get very far. David Duke/KKK was sued and went bankrupt for the murder of a nineteen year old man. That incident had direct proof of causation of the death. There are a lot more dots to connect in the guy who rents a protester all the way to damages caused to some plaintiff.

That brings up damages, so I'm going to assume you didn't get run over by Soros in his limo, and we're talking about some lesser "damage" claim. BTW your snowflake fefes probably don't count and damage to reputation would also be a tough stretch, ala Gawker/Hulk Hogan. So, if you have an idea on actual damages, just comment and we can discuss it. They are usually split between Hard (Medical expenses, loss of earnings, etc.) and soft damages (pain and suffering and emotional distress). There are two cases I'd like to discuss. The UCDavis PepperCop (first pic) and Scott Olsen (with the 1000 yard stare) who was felled by a tear gas canister to the head in Oakland (2nd/3rd pic). https://imgtc.com/a/ntQaxXb The students got a few pennies, but the campus cop (Officer Pike) got retirement and $30,000. The chancellor who ordered him to illegally clear out the protesters still has her job. Not bad for a few minutes work. On the other hand, Scott had the hardest time figuring out who shot him in the head with a weapon that should be launched in an arc. Ironically, he was unable to speak for some time and it is still noticeable. Free speech isn't free. For the longest time, they thought it was the cop that was all smiles in pic number 2. In the end, popo fingers were pointing in a huge circle jerk, but Scott was eventually touched by the magic wand of justice of around a $1 million. His attorneys walked with almost half, which is the job of any good attorney, amiright?

I remain entirely unconvinced those are related. There are much closer metro area than Charlotte that would make more sense if you were going to bus people in to Charlottesville.

it doesn't really matter - the point is to draw attention to the fact that organizations exist and are hiring people for "political activism." it serves to shine light on the professional protestor class and most important, who funds them. most people still do not realize this is a real thing at all, much less that they're all funded by the same people...

You don't want to hire on top of the city you want destructive people in. Locals won't want to detroy their own property.

Even with the BLM protests the police were finding that most of the people that were being arrested were not locals and had taken a bus to get to that location.

Noticed the 'k' at the end is missing. Is this due to the length of the url specific to the site?

They'll drive the car their dad bought them to get on the protest bus and get paid to protest. Then spend the day spouting anarcho-communist nonsense without the slightest hint of irony. Top shelf doublethink.

Suing should be the way to cripple them but you can't win a suit against them because of their high paid lawyers. That is if you could even get the suit into court before a judge dismissed it. So that said, I think we could do more damage by keeping an eye on Craigslist and other classifieds for these ads. Every one of them we find should be blasted all over forum boards and social media. It may not stop them but it would cause them a lot of problems recruiting paid protesters.

This shit has been going before the elections started. Shit, HRC probably had to hire people for her campaigns so she wouldn't have an empty event.

I had a ton of SS just like these ALL over the US. If these companies can't be held liable for hate crimes, then ya, maybe Craigslist. But giving instructions to those paid to "engage in illegal activities" is a crime

Or every one of you should answer the damn ad, get paid, video the whole thing, expose the whole lot as Fake News, then eat some popcorn...

There would be an NDA, but given that enforcing it against you would just draw more attention to the crooked little operation I suppose there's no sense worrying too much about it.

A lawsuit should be filed against the civil authorities of Charlottsville for giving permits for assembly (same time, same place) to groups that hate each other. The Mayor, Vice-Mayor and City Council should be sued for their culpability in the death of Heather Heyer.
