If South Carolina voters agree it is allowed to fly, then I really don't care...

Provided they follow this:

§7. Position and manner of display

(c) No other flag or pennant should be placed above or, if on the same level, to the right of the flag of the United States of America, except during church services conducted by naval chaplains at sea, when the church pennant may be flown above the flag during church services for the personnel of the Navy. No person shall display the flag of the United Nations or any other national or international flag equal, above, or in a position of superior prominence or honor to, or in place of, the flag of the United States at any place within the United States or any Territory or possession thereof: Provided, That nothing in this section shall make unlawful the continuance of the practice heretofore followed of displaying the flag of the United Nations in a position of superior prominence or honor, and other national flags in positions of equal prominence or honor, with that of the flag of the United States at the headquarters of the United Nations.

(d) The flag of the United States of America, when it is displayed with another flag against a wall from crossed staffs, should be on the right, the flag's own right, and its staff should be in front of the staff of the other flag.

(e) The flag of the United States of America should be at the center and at the highest point of the group when a number of flags of States or localities or pennants of societies are grouped and displayed from staffs.

(f) When flags of States, cities, or localities, or pennants of societies are flown on the same halyard with the flag of the United States, the latter should always be at the peak. When the flags are flown from adjacent staffs, the flag of the United States should be hoisted first and lowered last. No such flag or pennant may be placed above the flag of the United States or to the United States flag's right.

This is; honestly, a prefectly worded law.

I don't mean in its use of verbiage understandable to layman, but in the solemn pride that is cast upon the American Flag. I mean, that is some freedom boner shit right there.

Except the Texas flag! We fly it at the same height here.

We're Texan before we're American

Everyone in every state should recognize that they are citizens of their states first.

It's an historic representation of a political war on home soil. It's 100% appropriate.

I was in New Orleans few months ago when the statues were being torn down. Literally every black person I talked to didn't give a shit. It was all white virtue signaling SJWs from out of town that were all butthurt over it.

States have the right to fly what ever the fucking hell they want. They don't need anyone's permission but their own.

I grew up in the south, but no longer reside there. The flag of the Confederacy does not represent slavery or oppression, it is a symbol of the failed government of Jefferson Davis. I have no issue with any flag.

If by failed, you mean snuffed out by northern oppressors. A funny way of wording it.

Well, if you enter a race and lose to someone faster then you failed. We lost to someone so we failed.

I grew up in nyc and never really thought it did. Just learning any decent amount of history would give you clues to why not even if you were told that was why.

Honestly at that point it would be the same as saying the Canadian flag is racist for not wanting to be part of the US. Most were new states, Canada wasn't a country until 4 years after the war

Have you ever read The Cornerstone Speech? It's pretty hard to deny that the Confederacy wasn't all about slavery. People love to make up lofty reasons for shit so it all gets muddied.

There was some woman on Reddit a while back who had a mastectomy. She posted nudes and did an AMA saying she wanted to change people's perception of sexy or something. Bullshit. She wanted to feel sexy again, which is fine. But that wasn't good enough. She had a higher mission...

I think it's the same here. The southerners were pissed about the election of an abolitionist and decided to take their toys and leave the Union. Then tried to talk up their high ideals. But the average guy...nah. he just didn't want to have to let the negros loose to live their own lives. Then once the shooting started it was about protecting their homeland.

The state has the right to fly any non religious flag it wants... California can even make the mexican flag its state flag and the US constitution doesn't care (and neither does mexico for that matter).

What the Confederate flag symbolizes to many is a warning to the deep state that if they try that shit again of taking my rights outside of the framework of the Constitution there will be another revolt and just because they won last time doesn't mean the rematch will go their way. The liberals forget that if a real civil war borke out it wouldn't be north and south it would be the rest of us against the Northeast, and Chicago/Detroit and California

The "north" would lose because the military is overwhelmingly a Consitutionalist body and the "war" would last about a week and then we would just spend s few years imprisonng all of the problem people. until we fixed all the laws that judges wrongly legislated from the bench. There would be no need for a new Constitution, just s need to actually follow the current one.

And if the NSA is reading this and wants to find out whether I am a nut job read the book "the Congressmans wife" by Rhettt Dawn it points out how stupid you fucks are.

That headline reads like its pandering to day care adults that want to be submissive to a grand authority. I hate those freaks.
