They actually do really lose. Truth always prevails in the long-run. Dishonesty is against nature itself and can only last in the short-term because nothing can fight the forces of reality forever. Just because someone who is dishonest or corrupt can see some short-term gains and successes from their wicked ways does not mean they do not lose. They are merely setting themselves up for the loss in the future. That's why the corrupt and the dishonest get angry when exposed to the truth. They are afraid of their impending dooms.
