I live in this district, and no, none of these people are even remotely like those who I associate with on a daily basis. Sure, you have your stereotypical leftist graphic design student at g state, but for the most part I don't know many people like this except on college campuses. Which, unsurprisingly, almost all of reddits active user base is.

I know very little about Georgia other than I tried to get a job at one of the University hospitals. I thought with it's high black pop. it would go Dem. Glad to see it didn't.

blacks are getting real sick of the dem party. theyre not voting republican or anything, just abstaining. the black silence in the 2016 election was deafening

Downtown is extraordinarily Dem, and its constituents are represented thus. But the 6th district is more north west Atlanta, and its suburbs. One of the more famous North-West Suburbs of Atlanta is Kennesaw, where it is a law that every eligible head of household must own a functioning firearm. Look up the breaking and entering statistics showing before and after this law went into effect there, and then look at those same statistics for a city like Chicago. Sure, Gun prohibition solves violence. /s
