There's no good reason to try to ban them and this god damn $200 tax needs to go too. All it does is prevent you from giving yourself permanent hearing damage in the event that you have to defend yourself. It's still pretty loud. You can go even quieter with suppressor + subsonic ammo, but even then if the listener is familiar with guns they'll be able to identify it from a decent distance as long as there's not a ton of outside noise to drown it out.

The tax isn't bad, it's the bureaucracy. 6-12 month wait time with almost a grand left with some dealer? Fuck That!

The tax is bad though. It's fucking ridiculous, in my opinion. I don't think suppressors should be regulated in any way at all.

It's a money trap. They don't want people to have them plus they can wring out a few sheckles from the ones that can afford it. It's a win win for the nanny state.

Kind of on the fence about this. If suppressors were legal and I could just buy one, I would definitely be killing people weekly. On the other hand you can buy the mag light kits pretty easily...

The only thing stopping you from killing people is the fact suppressors are illegal?
