This narrative is designed to project these tracks:
There must be discord in the WH cabinet
That the cabinet lacks confidence in the Presidents decisions (wreckless?)
That international communications from the WH are being done without the knowledge of the President The goal is to illustrate incompetence.
No need to remind any of us readers that there are a LOT OF LIES being produced or provided to the media in order to undermine the government that has been duly elected by this country.
Also..... NAFTA was a corporate greed driven plan to put U.S. labor force in direct competition with poorer nations (result was jobs exported to Mexico, etc.) It was advertised as a means to "cut border crossing red-tape" to reduce trade costs, but in effect it hindered tariff control that was meant to level the labor/environmental cost playing field. IT WAS, AND IS A BAD DEAL.
