God I wish somebody like Paul would become president.

Ron Paul has always been the lone voice of truth. He's one of the only politicians to stick to his principles his whole time in office and not but corrupted. I wished more people listened to him. He called out the housing bubble all the way back in 2001 and he was ignored. He was the person to open my mind to the Austrian School and Libertarianism.

Yeah if you look back at nearly everything, Ron Paul is the only person to be consistently right for decades.

He was the person to open my mind to the Austrian School and Libertarianism.

And that was Paul's real success, IMO he did more to improve America by losing the presidency than Obama did by winning it. So many people got woken up by Paul.

I was already leaning Libertarian (the only president I've ever voted for was Michael Badnarik) but it's pretty accurate to say Ron Paul "cured my apathy" like many others.

Just seeing how generally supportive most people were and still are of Paul is incredibly encouraging and it always amazes me of how optimistic Paul himself is able to remain despite paying attention to everything as closely as he has for decades.

If Ron Paul said it, you can be sure the opposite will be done.

The opposite of being decent will always be done.

Ron Paul isn't extremist. He just argues for the way things ought to work.

Time will tell what happens, but I'm hopeful this push to go after Assange is part of the prearranged plan to get Assange to freedom, get him to release his insurance files, whisk him out of there, and get all of the CIA/Clinton crazy stuff revealed. Depending on what he's got this could drain the swamp. Eventually when the dust settles, Assange is let go.

Maybe wishful thinking but I think we are in for a wild ride.

I fully expect Assange to get arrested, but only when the CIA has been dealt with and the FBI isn't as compromised as it is.

Once that's been done, the usual media show will happen with the MSM trying to twist things, call for Assange's imprisonment or worse, more belly-aching from the left, and finally a pardon from President Trump.

Trump isn't stupid, he knows what's going on, plus Donald Trump Jr is a confirmed shitposter on /pol/ so you can be sure he has at least one sound person to give him advice.

Why did he lose when he was running in the election? This is an absolute shame that obummer was voted again even when his first term wasn't great.

A LOT more people are aware of what's going on now in 2017. More people questioning things, and maybe even starting to believe this whole "new world order" thing that they researched one night or heard about in the past, thinking it was crazy. People now know something is not right. More people than not now know Obama fucked everybody over. Are a large portion of politicians really paedophiles? We were told the NSA tracking everything was crazy. People are aware. And probably somewhat worried. People including myself are putting our trust and hope in Trump, is he the real deal? I'm starting to lean towards no. But I give him the benefit for the false sense of security and I am enjoying until we really see how things play out.

who Paul? McCain was the shittiest running mate possible, because the two party system was functioning to keep Obama in power.

The media undercut him like hell. And that was a while ago, before online media had really blown up.

Only if we realised it sooner media was absolutely asinine from long time ago.

The problem is that the truth is often inconvenient to professional liars (aka "politicians").

Ron Paul seemed to like Trump at the beginning... And Trump liked Assange.

So is this our future? Presidents going back on their word, arresting people that helped them, reasonable people calling them out on it, and voters not giving a shit? And that's not general apathy, as Trump opposers can't shut their freaking mouths. But holy heck, they just protest the stupidest things instead of things like this.

If I had to guess, Trump was probably ecstatic about the DNC leaks, but pissed about the Vault 7 stuff.....

Sounds to me like you just described the normal operating temperature of our government, there, friendo.

How much more of this will you allow before revolution, or will you just take it? It's time to actually seriously consider the option at this point. Things AREN'T getting better, and Donald Trump being a turncoat just proves that no matter who shows up to change the game, they will all end up as controlled opposition.

So I ask again, are you going to accept the fact that we the people have no say whatsoever in how things go in this country, as it is rigged on every fathomable level, and start seriously considering the logistics and planning involved in overthrowing our corrupt government, or are we just going to switch parties for another Election cycle and pray that our captors will be nice to us next time?

I hate to fuckin break it to you, buddy, but we can't have faith in a democratic process that doesn't even exist on paper. Something has to be done.

Didn't Julian Assange agree with the 9/11 commission report?
