UPDATE! They tried to reschedule her to a day when there are no classes:

It seems odd that she would protest this decision when she was complaining that the original date was scheduled during the day when everyone was in their classes. They basically gave her what she requested and she declined it. Huh.

there is a difference between having it on a weekend or evening, and having it when people aren't there (week off) and during a weekday (non-students work).
I don't know what time they have her speaking or anything, but just wanted to point that out.

Yeah, she's acting she can't just fly across the country to give a presentation on a different date with a week's notice.

I think the UC lawyers are getting nervous. She is a graduate of U of Michigan law school.

Is there anyone left at universities that get embarrassed over them canceling speaking engagements?

I don't think so. These people have no self awareness so they have no shame.

fully self aware, have no shame

I should've started investing in ski mask shops in the Berkeley area a few months back.

Silly people! They are protecting her right to free speech by canceling her speech for her protection. Seems obvious, right?
[–] Thegreatstoneddragon 0 points 6 points 6 points (+6|-0) ago
So they're not even pretending like the police are gonna protect everyone anymore?

They don't even have to listen to what the other person has to say or research it to get triggered. All someone in their echo chamber has to do is use a ton of buzzwords along with taking really mundane comments or jokes completely out of context or just straight up lie.
