As a person who is paying for health insurance after tax, I stand to save thousands of dollars if Rand Paul gets the best parts of his bill passed.

It's the best option we've been presented with so far. It's far from ideal, but it's a giant leap in the right direction.

I agree and hear ya. The fucked thing is that we've been fucked over and dumbed down so much this is what we have to "settlle" for. Congress gets healthcare for life and we the people who they supposivly work for get scraps. There are brilliant good people in this country but politics is so poisonous that they shy away. We should not have to dealing with this the same time our land is being flossed with illegal aliens and disease ridden "refugees".

"Agreement". That means he might be getting budged off of a full repeal.

Don't fold, Rand! Don't let the swamp suck you under and claim you as one of their own!

Good to hear. If they can become strong allies we'll be much better off for it.

Rand and Trump. Just imagine what they could accomplish if they worked together. Ones authoritarian, the other more libertarian. One's for large government, the other for smaller government. Both (most likely) work for the general American population and are pro Constitution. Both would also like to redirect some of the federal powers back to the state governments. It just might give us a health balance of a strong, but non-interventionist government.

all they have to do is look at other developed countries and copy their healthcare. why reinvent the wheel. take the power away from drug companies and stop airing their commercials. america and new zealand are the o ly 2 countries that have drug commercials. only a doctor should give you advice on what to take.

So all along this entire thing was just a disagreement between Paul and Trump?

People are speculating that Trump saw it as an opportunity to take Paul Ryan down. Perhaps they also knew that Rand's bill wouldn't get passed with Ryan's bill in the way.
