They being the highly conservative majority on voat. People like earlponcho, alphawookie, BoiseNTheHood (speaking of, that's a name I haven't seen in a VERY long time, when I think about it). Seeing as I'm as liberal as they come (seriously, even by bleedingheart standards, i'm left leaning), I can't really use the royal We when referring to that group. I very much consider myself part of the Voat community (I mean, after nearly two years, I would hope I'm a part of this community, after all), but I break from it so much politically, that its hard to justify putting us in the same category.
As for my status as a shill, I've been here about as long as you, and have been working the entire time to better voat as a platform and grow our community, I've fought tooth and nail for free speech here, even when vocally opposed to the ideas being expressed. I've put more than 100 dollars of my own money in donations and merch to keep the site going.
If I'm a shill, who the fuck would want to pay me to improve voat? A shill would want to compromise us. Fuck that.

Lol, I didn't think you were a shill, but I believe you get called that pretty often. Boise! Yeah, whatever happened to him?

I've actually not been called it all that often. Most of the insults that have been flung at me during my time at voat were back during our phase of "Cuck" being the go to insult. As for boise, I just checked his profile, still comments a reasonable amount, but stopped posting links for the most part after the election. I remember days when half of the /v/politics front page was his trash. I think a combination of decreased activity and an increased userbase just made him much less prominent.
