If you're not familiar with Carl Bernstein, he and Bob Woodward investigated Watergate. Their investigation and reporting led to Nixon's resignation.
Edit: Original tweet here.

I know the names "Woodward and Bernstein" together but individually this guy didn't mean anything to me. Thanks.

An example he uses:
"Prime example of wholesale classified 'leaking' to press by members of congress (and hypocrisy): Gowdy Committee Benghazi investigation."

Interesting...
Your post:
Feeldaberm's post:
Sounds like ol' Bernstein may be a bit Assbernsteined there.

The most annoying part of our two party system is the massive sense of irony that party loyalists seem to miss entirely. Democrats calling Republicans "obstructionists" now doing the exact same thing. Republicans worried about HRCs FBI investigation now are downplaying Trump's situation.
This election cycle has proved without a doubt that both parties put themselves and their corporate sponsors above American interests.

Sounds like knowledge of a criminal act. Someone else's crime he can't plead the fifth. Maybe he should share that information.
But to be fair I know stuff I shouldn't and I'm damn glad I do. I wish I could share.

The WaPo writer who did a glowing Hillary biography and weighed in on Benghazi in defense of Hillary/Obama surly will be an impartial party in all things.
