Servers get 'hacked' all the time. Not all of it is of serious nature. As long as no crime is covered up, just some data is kept private, it's any organisation's right to decide when they need help and when not. And if the state sees a more important problem, they can and should get a warrant first. No case specific warrant, no search.

True, yes.
But, considering what is known about how the DNC was going about things during the primary's,
and all the B.S. about "Russians", this would seem to indicate that the DNC has (had) a hell'va lot more
that didn't get released and they wanted it to stay that way.
If this is true, it's just more confirmation that the whole apple crate is rotten to the core.
It's also very telling that all the DNC folks involved in this stuff never once said the emails,
and the information in them, weren't true.
Very strange times.

I'd agree here in general but Hillary was Secretary of State and she has a duty to prove that no national interests were breached. If they found other schenanigans like a cop seeing g a back of drugs while performing a duty of something else it should be treated in a similar fashion.

I didn't even know it was about that old thing. The fact they didn't hand over what they are legally required to hand over in an investigation is worth jail imo, if it's true. Not to mention preserving records of official deeds. I thought he was talking about a new incident and didn't bother reading about it...
