Oh that sucks. I mean, I'm careful to not be overly belligerent or anything, I just hold my ground when it comes to certain things I believe in. I just usually preface comments using their own logic, i.e. "I know this class is a safe space so I'm not afraid to reveal my opinion that ... etc.", and none of my classmates really read up on these things at all, so they're afraid to look stupid if they just start parroting half-remembered shit from buzzfeed or wherever else they get their "news" from. I actually love it when class discussions get a little bit controversial, that's what college should really be for, exposing one to provocative ideas and finding out just exactly how you feel about them. I swear though, as a creative writing and journalism student, just about every single person in either of my majors is a hardcore lib. I still get along just fine with a lot of them, just not when it comes to politics. I've been doing my best to slowly drop irrefutable little redpills whenever I can.
