Neither my husband or I have ever heard of Protestant revolts being related to Crusades or Islam.

The point I'm making is that Protestantism brought better ideas to Christianity, and a similar approach is worth a shot on Islam. Of course, once it probably doesn't work, we should isolate the Middle East and let them slug it out. full travel ban on the region, no planes in or out, and no acceptance of refugees in the western world. Coupled with the destabilization of the likes of Iran, the UAE and Saudi Arabia, we'll see Islam destroy itself with no boots of ours on the ground. Shit, we wouldn't even need drone strikes.

The first half about Protestantism is a devil's advocate argument, but I really mean the second part. We don't need their oil and they have nothing else to trade, so fuck the Middle East, let them sort themselves out or perish in the process.

I completely disagree. I think our world is vile and immoral, the conclusion of "it feels good do it" Protestantism. Here's some quotes from Luther. If we allow them - the Commandments - any influence in our conscience, they become the cloak of all evil, heresies and blasphemies. < satanic ...with regard to God, and in all that bears on salvation or damnation, (man) has no ‘free-will’, but is a captive, prisoner and bond slave, either to the will of God, or to the will of Satan. < anti christ

We now consume the fruits of your "better" ideas. Relative morality, feminism, abandonment of culture, hatred of family, etc. Enjoy.
