After Sanders allowed the DNC to threaten and bribe him (see Podesta Wikileaks) and use his integrity as their personal glory hole, there's no reason anyone should respect him again.

After being so absolutely compromised that he promoted Hillary Clinton: the most corrupt politician in American history who took bribes from more lobbyists and foreign governments than anyone else, the only dignified thing left for Sanders to do was to retired... but instead he used his fraudulent campaign donations to buy a luxurious holiday home and a ridiculously expensive sports car and continued to pass judgement on the morality of other politicians.

Sanders deserves only to be spat on.

We both know Sanders was going to support whoever won the DNC.

Yes his family was threatened. He chose not to get them suicided.

He chose not to get them suicided.

Ugh at which point he should have quit rather than spending his fake-campaign donations on luxury sports cars and holiday homes and continuing to benefit from being a whore of George Soros.

Any moral politician would have retired after he was so thorough compromised that he promoted Hillary Clinton: the most corrupt politician in American history... but what did Sanders do? He continued to enjoy being a globalist whore and continued to hypocritically pass judgement on other politicians.

Trump would have received the same threat from the Clinton crime syndicate, but instead he told them to fuck off and demonstrated some back bone.

Once you've endorsed Hillary Clinton, you become the enemy of Western culture.

Sanders deserves nothing more than to be spat on.

I don't buy that for a min. If anything they had some dirt on him they would leak and smear. He was looking out for his family alright, looking to keep up their standard of living.

'Divide and Conquer' has been used successfully for centuries by the ruling class to keep us fighting each other while they rake in and hoard tons of cash selling weapons to both sides. Its so easy to bash the other side, but it takes more mental strength to see past the knee-jerk reactions and try to understand why people think as they do. I get why people found it hard to see Hillary's many deep flaws, because the same people found it impossible to admit how disappointing Obama's administration was on some very important issues. I also get why people voted for Trump, and no they aren't all racist or sexist or deplorable. BOTH sides are being lied to and played against each other for the benefit of a handful of greedy billionaire douchebags who hoard so much cash their employees can't feed their families. Those same asshats have millions of people convinced that 'those politicians' and/or 'too much government' is the core problem. That is just one more lie in an ocean of 'alternate facts.'
The system is badly broken, and we don't have to all agree on how to fix it, but it sure would be easier if we try understand that people on 'the other side' really aren't your enemies. You don't have to agree with your opponents, but try to understand how they arrive at their opinion and you may discover that they want the same basic results that you do. We all want the American Dream to be achievable, but we need to recognize that it just isn't for a growing majority. Try to see how Divide & Conquer is being deployed against us and you may discover ways we can work together to fix what is broken. The knee-jerk reaction you're supposed to have to my message is that I'm hopelessly naive to think we should all hold hands and sink 'Kumbaya' together and if so, try going back to the top and reading this again. Every problem has a solution, most have several and you don't have to pick just one. I respect that you may hold opinions very different from my own, but that doesn't mean we are enemies.

It's sad that even people here can't see this and downvoat you. I think it's just too far outside the worldview to see it as anything other than liberals vs conservatives.

One thing he might do, and I wouldn't be surprised, is to turn his back at the last moment on any issue his vote/support matters

He did it to his electoral base during the election, as you mentioned, and i've heard he did it also with rand paul for auditing the fed

At the last moment, he flip flopped

The only thing we can be certain of it that Sanders will ultimately act based on what is best for him personally rather than what is best for America.

Sanders will say and do anything, including promote the most fucked-up politician in American history, given the right bribes.

The voat hate for Bernie is strong. He was anti TPP before it was cool. Good on Trump for signing the executive order and a major FU to Chuck Schumer who says that the deal was dead before Trump took office. Hillary would have signed us up for TPP at 12:01 after her inauguration

I don't hate Bernie. And I like Trump too. It's Hillary that bothered me. She really proved herself to be a sociopath.

Sanders, joined by Rust Belt Democrats, praises Trump for nixing TPP - The Washington Post

'Now is the time to develop a new trade policy that helps working families, not just multinational corporations. '

'Unlike Sanders, both watched their states break for Trump in 2016 after decades of solid Democratic wins. '

'After the election, Sanders and others saw Trump’s victory as the stake through the heart of the trade deal. '

'During the campaign, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton came out against the TPP after praising the negotiations that had resulted in it. '

'They are just the first in a series of necessary policy changes required to build a fair and just global economy. '

Yeah, new sheriff in town and Bernie is cozying right up to it, kinda like he did with Hildebeast, but then that was the plan all along. Nothing like a new car and a vacation home to make Bernie see it your way. See, fake socialism does pay well.

Bernie basically ran his campaign on trashing the TPP. He's not cozying up to anyone.

Trump was the devil yesterday, today he's MAGA. Looks pretty cozy to me, but then time will tell.
