Fallon Fox who was born male, went like 0-9 then didn't take any hormones before having gender reassignment surgery. Then he went on to have at least 5 fights against women before anyone found out he was born a man. He practically maimed those women, broken bones, many interviewed afterwards said things like they were pretty strong women themselves (considering they are professional fighters, probably a true statement) but they had never felt overpowered by another woman like that. He's been a pretty controversial figure since then. Here's a video of him losing a fight against a real girl though, Ashlee Smith. Kinda interested in seeing more of this Ashlee girl, who also subsequently said that Fallon should not be allowed to fight women even after victory. Link for the interested.

Man, when it comes down to it, I don't like this idea at all. MMA had a hard enough time getting legalized in the first place, it only recently became legal in New York. The boxing commission has an iron grip on the ability to have sanctioned fights in a bunch of states, which is bullshit. Boxers shouldn't dictate how karate fighters fight one another, or how muay thai fighters fight one another, or how MMA fighters fight one another, etc. They are entirely different sports. But boxers get to dictate if muay thai fighters get to use elbows or knees in their fight, even though those are literally staples of their art. At least if they want a sanctioned (as in, not illegal and possibly risk getting arrested for hosting an illegal fight club) event. Then of course, if any other sanctioning authority wants to get off the ground, it has to be done at the discretion of the boxing commission due to the way the archaic actual laws on the books are governing that sort of thing.

The amount of politics involved in hosting fights for stuff other than boxing is absolutely insane, even for people who have dedicated their life to the craft. If boxing gets disrespected in this way by people continuing to allow this kinda nonsense to happen, it makes all fight sports suffer. I get your overall point, that this would probably be the fastest way to get this nonsense to stop, but that doesn't seem to have been the case yet. When it comes down to it, there aren't a hell of a lot of girls interested in fight sports yet to begin with, so this isn't where it gets changed. Men aren't going to be the ones to get feminists to turn against trans people. It's going to be other girls.

As such, it's men going into volleyball and shit like that, sports dominated by women, that is really gonna be the eye opener.

What stops women from declining fights? If they don't want to fight someone with a significant advantage, simply refuse the fight and if this person can't fight anyone to fight, they'll become a nobody.

When he started doing that, his opponents didn't know he was really a man. This leaked out later after someone got hurt real bad from him.

It's a freakshow. Everyone knows it and opponents are paid appropriately.

There are not many fighters to choose from. You don't understand, for an amateur girl doing most combat sports trying to find her first fight against an opponent who's also having her first fight that has trained for a similar time period is difficult to begin with. Just for smokers that aren't a total mismatch a lot of girls have to travel out of state. Really look at gender composition of most fight gyms. Mostly dudes. The girls that are willing to go out in front of a bunch of people and get their nose broken are a smaller percentage of the girls going to those types of gyms at all.

Gets even harder the more experienced your girls are too. This is where politics can come into play. You got a promoter. He's got a LOT of front money on making an event happen. He's got a star 185 pound local fighter champ fighting some ripped dude from a rival state. The top fight on the undercard though is two cute girls at 125, both with at least 5 fights (not a bad start on either level amateur or pro, as most if not all will be wins for both). This fight has been hyped, advertisements made, lots of people work to make two people fight after all.

A week before the fight, coach of one of those 125 pound girls calls the promoter with bad news. Girl got a broken hand in training. Broken ankle, broken rib, etc. Some people refuse to fight with a broke toe or two, others will....shit happens though. Now though this promoter has to do his best to find an opponent willing to fight with a week's notice. This is where things get tricky and hands get greased one way or another.

And risk being called a bigot? No, thanks.

That fight looks faked too. Fallon's not even trying! Ashlee's looking kinda half-assed too.

Fallon went for multiple submission attempts, but Ashlee's technique was better than Fallon's power. Clearly Ashlee is not a heavy hitter, but she outclassed Fallon and won by TKO because she understands how to fight better than Fallon did. Fighting a bunch of girls in a row and smashing their brains in in the first round until he fought an actual champ allowed him to get cocky and lazy. Watching another fighter get completely dominated for 15 straight minutes is kinda boring though, admittedly.

didn't take any hormones before having gender reassignment surgery.

Do you have a source for that?

I'm on my phone, but it used to say so directly on Fallon's Wikipedia page.
