This actually illustrates one of the democrats political advantages. They have groups of people who will uniformly support them while republicans are from divided groups. There is not one major demographic that will win every state even among themselves, which supports the republicans.
There is a positive reason for that. These are groups that can think for themselves and sometimes they come to different conclusions. The democrats advantage is winning over the entirely gullible that think that Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton have any ideological relationship (other than either would be very dangerous). In essence their base are people that will vote the way they're told no matter the policy or record.
