I don't understand why companies get involved with politics in the first place, if you take a side then you are just pissing off half your customers, the same thing happened with the Pepsi CEO saying that they didn't want Trump supporters using their products. The entire purpose of a corporation is to make money for stockholders, If I were a stockholder I would be furious and I wonder if stockholders would have grounds to sue the executives who make such stupid decisions.

The political left started this push with the idea of "good corporate citizenship" being frustrated by limitations placed on the aims of the political left by laws and The Constitution the narrative switched that companies have to act in ways that further the aims of the political left. Now as a part of business school new students are indoctrinated in the idea of "good corporate citizenship" of course "good corporate citizenship" means and only means progressive ideology is good.

I hope the company tanks. When you only want Far-Left views associated with your cereal, you have pretty much given the finger to over half the population.
