But the damage is already done. This weekend I saw a stream of invective being spewed out of the television doing everything but accuse Snowden of being a Commie sleeper agent. I somehow doubt those same networks will mention their error in more than a 15-second retraction, if ever.

Sure. There has been more than usual coverage of this scandal though. It's something. I am hoping people realize just how dangerous the corporate press is already. I thought that was a slam-dunk after the WMDs issue.
It's not enough for us to say we are smart and we can spot propaganda. Everyone is subject to the effects of propaganda. Nobody is immune. The only real solution is to disengage from the corporate press.
