"Carson Daly is taking over the Today Show slot left empty during Billy Bush's suspension in the wake of lewd comments he made while on a bus with Donald Trump."
'But it is yet unclear how long he might take over for Bush, or how long Bush will be off of the show. ', "NBC has not officially said how long Bush's suspension will last."
'Daly, who got his start as a VJ for MTV, will cohost with Tamron Hall, says the outlet. ', "Daly, 43, will co-host Tuesday's 9am slot of the show as executives powwow about what do about the scandal and when or if Bush should return, reports Variety."

I don't watch the Today show, but are they really news readers? Wasn't that Matt Lauer and Katie Couric's old gig? They aren't really news people anymore. Just "personalities" who sit around on a sofa with oversized coffee mugs trying to act like they are the best friend of all the stupid strangers who tune in to watch.
And even if it was "news" show, is he really much worse than and Anderson Cooper or the lemon queen? The only difference is they never played videos on MTV, but they sure as hell aren't any Edward R Murrows.

Ridiculous. This sort of censorious, politically correct bullshit is why Trump got nominated.
