TLDR; Replicans are trying to make it hard for dead people to vote for Hillary. Dead Lives Matter!

I used to take for granted the canned democrat line of "voter ID is discrimination" until a stray comment on voat contained something that can only be described as the perfect counter-point: we require photo ID to operate a motor vehicle, is that a form of discrimination?
Would it cost money to issue voter ID's? Yes, but we already go through a rather annoying registration process anyway. Issuing a piece of plastic with a picture, some text, and a magnetic strip really can't be all that difficult.

They're not dead - they're "life-challenged."

Fuck David Toscano - This asshole immediately buries his head in the sand claiming “First of all, there was no voter fraud — they caught him,” then adding “Nobody cast a vote. ... There’s still no evidence of that going on in the state. But there is evidence every time you turn around that the Republicans are trying to make it more difficult for citizens to vote in elections.”
He's basically saying, "It's not against the law, unless you get caught." What a fucking asshole.
We need a major change in Washington - TRUMP2016

Not voter fraud, he never tried to vote. At the same time, maybe we need a national id card that can be used to vote and collect government services?
[–] ilikeskittles 0 points 9 points 9 points (+9|-0) ago
That's just not true, voter fraud is just a right wing conspiracy. No reason at all people need to provide proof of who they are to vote. It's racist.

It's not like burger land would want to turn into a regulated cesspool like Europe is.

Hmm, a group based on a university is registering dead people to vote. I wonder what party they're working for...
It's a mystery, I tell ya.
