While causing a whole bunch of problems of its own. For example, the National Socialism is anti-free speech. Also, nationalism cannot address global issues like climate change, which are very real.
The truth is that people cannot exist as isolated groups anymore. International travel and digital communication have made some form of globalism inevitable. The key is to decentralize power and ensure that global society benefits humanity as opposed to corporations.
Nation states are going the way of city states one way or the other.

It's completely feasible to enforce borders. We have the technology to travel, and also the technology to limit immigration. But you act like it's impossible to go to a national socialist state for tourism. Of course you can visit.
The third reich was very passionate about protecting the environment. They did not know about climate problems back then, but it's absolutely in line with the national socialist philosophy to value clean energy and protecting the environment.
National Socialist Party of America is not legitimate. Sorry to tell you, but the US is pretty well overrun with spooks.

That's not what I'm saying at all. It's not just about tourism. It's about relationships, business, education. Generally, it's about free association. National socialism is a hindrance to the natural and free association between individuals connecting with each other through the mediums that exist today. National socialists, for instance, believe in state controlled media. The 23rd point in the document linked to above necessitate a nationwide firewall that prevents any "unapproved" foreign materials from being disseminated to the members of the United States. National socialism isn't just about keeping the borders closed, it's about isolating the entire public from the world outside of the nation state. Not only is that a violation of human rights, it's unsustainable as a national policy. (This is consistent with how the Third Reich operated, too).
Yet, it's a global problem that requires all producing nations to be on board to solve. Nations need to cooperate, and the people need to be able to hold all nations accountable for their actions in order to preserve the global environment.
