Soros has proven to be exceptionally good at speculating. The reason he has so much influence is because we as a society think it is perfectly reasonable to turn our financial sector into the world's biggest casino. And right wingers often fail to see that systemic issue, instead focusing on Soros' progressive politics and treating him like some evil NWO boogie man. Meanwhile, other oligarchs equal or greater in power are destroying our environment and enslaving the third world.
Our entire economy is based on the idea that money buys welfare. Welcome to the real world.
