I did not propose any solution. I merely suggested that Donald Trump would be a preferable candidate overall if he continues to oppose unlimited campaign funding.

If her campaign did in fact break fundraising laws, how will more laws change anything?

Sure, laws can be broken. People are not always held accountable for breaking laws either. These are basic facts of life.

But avoiding or removing laws is no answer.

Ask GWB. His people worked very hard to get laws against spying and torture repealed, even though these things were going on beforehand. Removing the laws mattered to them, and it should matter to us.

As for campaign funding laws, this is a particularly difficult area.

But we can reduce the corruption effect with laws and enforcement. If this were not true, we would not have people like Citizens United pushing to remove laws. We would not have Governor Scott Walker and his friends at the Wisconsin Supreme Court attempting to overturn laws in the "John Doe" case.

Two words: laws matter. :)
