Despite the fact that everyone in the EU speaks it.

The Brits seemed to have really shoved a pineapple up Merkel's ass, she pissed.

Please, it takes more than a pineapple to make Merkel uncomfortable.

Despite the fact that everyone in the EU speaks it.

They can regulate against that when the Superstate comes in.

As soon as Ingsoc gets established, we'll all be talking in Newspeak anyway.

French is used in a number of African countries and parts of Canada. It really goes back to where the Spanish, English, and French colonized. Those former colonies still speak the language of their conquerors for whatever reason.

French is still spoken in several parts of Africa and one part of South America, you've got me on German though. Their colonies got confiscated after WW1, so their language got dropped.

What does that have to do with anything? There are like 15 other countries that speak Spanish.
Actually, the second country with the largest amount of Spanish speakers is... the US, with 50 million.

I dont think anyone want to lure them back. It's a regulation, a fact, not an argument.

Hmm, personally I see it as little more than sour grapes. English is known globally, you wanna deny its use then that's fine but it's also stupid.

What a nice example of the EU:

No one wants to actually remove Englilsh as the working language, yet the rules state it should happen.
Queue beurocratic nonsense.

Sorry to be 'that guy', but it's 'Cue', not 'Queue'.

It is thought to come from the name of the letter q, used in an actor's script to represent the Latin 'quando' meaning 'when'.

Again, sorry, I am not a Grammar Nazi, honestly...Das ist eine Lüge!!!....errr I mean it's a lie

Some Brexit issues, like this one, seem petty and stupid. Next, we'll see them consider other major issues like whether or not there should be a full ban on Chicken Tikka Masala outside of the UK.

So what did the UK even benefit with from being in the EU?

Free trade, cheap exports, more tourism, free movement of labor, the Irish peace process, a big influence on the politics of nearby nations.

But apart from that, what did the Romans ever do for us?
