If our country had the demographics it once had, then sure. With the current state of public schools, this just seems like a disaster. Let's be real, the vast majority of those involved in shootings are the very folks that have brought the education system to its knees in this country.

The easiest remedy for the education situation in this country is to get back to a merit-based diversity of curriculum. Every student is evaluated in comparison to the bottom instead of the top. This is not a good way to foster talent.
