I really like The Joe Rogan Podcast, BBC world news, Your Mom's House with Tom Segura and Christina P, The Flop House, and the smartest man in the world with Greg Proops.
I've fallen off with Rooster Teeth lately - once you do 300+ podcasts of over an hour (the early ones were shorter) things can get a bit stale. They've tried to rectify this by switching up the cast, but it just doesn't do the trick for me anymore. I've gone back in their library and listened to stuff, but I have a hard time enjoying things with Jack in them. He seems like a tremendous guy with a big heart, but he's not my cup of tea as an entertainer.
Dude Soup is great - I really enjoy the Funhaus guys. They are my refuge for a rational voice in the gaming world. Very level headed discussion about the actions of gaming companies, the actions of consumers, and the opinions (usually outrage) of "the internet."
Penn's Sunday School can be hit or miss. If you like Penn as a person, particularly his stories about being in the entertainment world, I imagine you'll love it. I like Penn for his views on religion and politics, but that doesn't come up as often as I'd expect. For this reason, the politically themed podcasts are my favorites.
The Funhaus guys are awesome. I love the fact that they can be silly and entertaining while having a serious discussion about the gaming industry. What's also nice is that there doesn't seem to be a "Jack" of the group. Every member is hilarious.
I think Adam would be the Funhaus version of Jack, but Adam usually benefits from their quick edit style. I'm pretty sure it was the podcast where they talked about Halo where Adam seemed totally helpless being in command of the discussion because the other guys weren't taking it seriously. He has moments where he ends his sentences with an upward inflection as though he has no confidence in how his words will be received, just like Jack.
It has taken a while to notice, and it's not a deal breaker, but there is a lot of similarity between the two. I try not to be cruel about it because it's a failing likely caused by insecurity, and neither of them deserve the hatred that has been directed at Jack over the years.
Transgression. It's a podcast with Menton3, David Stoupakis, and Damien Echols with various guests talking about art, writing, and creating and whatnot.
