I am the current custodian of a huge library of books on war, history and other more tactical aspects of warfare and combat as well as awesome books about firearms and weapon making. One of the largest tactical libraries in private hands in the world. I seek to obtain books from academics or intellectuals who are downsizing. I have sought to add documentation about the changing media landscape and general pre-Americanization culture (that is, how countries were before they were taken over by the Empire, either physically or via popular culture.)
I scour these books for insight into the grand plan to make our modern world the way it is today.
THIS CHAPTER of the book “The Hidden Persuaders” by Vance Packard, explains the manufacturing of the adolescent. Right now people are bickering whether or not teenagers are children or adults. They are neither, they are adolescents, an identity that was MANUFACTURED whole cloth by marketing.

The teen years are the hardest - not a kid, not an adult. Our educational system has a huge opportunity to address this head-on and make high school a life values experience in place of a material values experience.
