I would just make a post letting people know you've been downvoted. Asking for upvotes is kind of bad form. The community looks on it like they look on a thread urging downvoting. If you have been brigaded and you draw attention to it people will usually give you a hand. Just an FYI.

The other day I posted but got hit so quick and hard that none of you saw it so I figure that's why nobody helped to neutralize the damage ....

Ugh :-(

Just trying to be supportive. Mods will never suffer from this kind of dumbness, but other community members definitely do, and it isn't fair to them.

But we aren't brigading Reddit and don't wish to be.

What a bunch of pansies. There is no one on voat who hasn't had a run in with Amalek. He is a mainstay. What makes you insufferable is asking for upvotes for damage control.

I tried to understand what this amalek is....i found this reference to his namesake on wikipaedia.Etymology of Amalek[edit] Amalek may mean people of lek (עֲם , לֵק), or "dweller in the valley",[6] or possibly "war-like", "people of prey", "cave-men".[7] In some rabbinical interpretations, Amalek is etymologised as a people am, who lick blood,[8] but most specialists regard the origin to be unknown.[9]
